The 27th annual St. Louis Wing Ding is taking place this August in Columbia, and is a fundraising event for the UCP Heartland Child Development Center.
Up to 10 local restaurants will be providing samples of their chicken wings. They will be competing with each other in categories such as traditional, hottest, meatiest, and specialty, and one will also receive the title of ‘Best Overall Wings’. Several special guests judges will decide on the winners and there will also be a People's Choice winner.
In addition to the wings, guests will enjoy musical entertainment, a silent auction, and a raffle. There will also be a cash bar.
The Heartland Child Development Center provides programs and services for children with cerebral palsy and their parents.
This is a popular annual event in Columbia and organizers are sure to have invested in services such as flyer printing from local Print companies to help spread the word in the community.
The St. Louis Wing Ding will be held at the Holiday Inn Executive Center on August 4 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Ticket prices are $20 for adults, $15 for students, and $10 for children between the ages of 6 and 12.
