Sid the Science Kid Live is coming to Columbia next month. The show is based on the PBS Kids series and it is produced by the Jim Henson Company.
The puppet show is part of the University Concert Series at the Missouri Theatre and is designed to be both educational and entertaining for people of all ages, but especially children. Sid, along with his friends May, Gabriela, and Gerald, will be exploring all five senses and promise to reveal a surprise sixth sense, accompanied by Teacher Susie.
The performance will feature comedy, games, science experiments, and music. Audience participation is also expected and children will no doubt be singing and dancing in the aisles during the show.
Sid the Science Kid Live is making stops in several United States cities this year in addition to Columbia. It is being widely advertised and this may include products provided by poster printing companies. These can then be displayed in public buildings all over Columbia and other participating cities.
Sid the Science Kid Live will be appearing at the Missouri Theatre on February 14, beginning at 2:00 pm. Tickets prices for adults are $32, $27, or $19, and children’s admission is $15.
