Columbia Parks and Recreation works throughout the year to help make the community a fun place to call home, and this summer, it will be hosting an outdoor movie night.
This free event, which is being offered thanks in part to support from Healthy Blue, will bring neighbors together to enjoy a flick under the stars. The whole family is welcome, and everyone is reminded to bring along some folding chairs or blankets so they can relax and take in the show.
The movie shown on the inflatable outdoor screen will be “Spies in Disguise” and before the curtain goes up, the audience will be able to purchase snacks or even a full meal from the food trucks on site, supporting local small businesses in the process.
The planners of this activity pointed out that along with Healthy Blue, a variety of companies and organizations have helped to make this event possible. Adding the Logo Design of those that choose to support this type of gathering to its marketing materials offers a way for a city to give them a tip of the hat in recognition of their generosity.
Columbia Parks and Recreation has made plans to host this event on July 9 at Cosmo Park. The movie will start at 8:45 pm, but people are advised to arrive early so they can secure a good spot.
