Art in the Park is returning to Columbia for two days this June, with the Columbia Art League presenting it.
The festival is set to feature more than 100 visual artists selling painting, prints, clothing, handmade jewelry, pottery, and a wide variety of creative items. The top artists in each category will receive ribbons and there will also be a Best in Show award.
In addition to the art for sale and display, there will be plenty of family friendly activities taking place. Entertainment will be provided by such groups as the Stone Lion Puppet Theatre and the Everyday Circus. There will be music from performers like the Kay Brothers, Ruth Acuff and others, magicians, jugglers, and children's entertainment.
High school artists will be showcased in the Emerging Artist Pavilion, and their work will also be for sale. Visitors can take part in a public mural painting with artist Stacy Self, or sit to have their caricature drawn. Of course, food and drink will be available for purchase.
This event will no doubt be widely advertised in Columbia, possibly with Flyers or Brochures provided by local Stationery printers.
Art in the Park will be held at Stephens Lake Park from June 6 to 7. Admission is free. To find out the latest information about this event, contact the Columbia Art League at 574-443-8838.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Stationery Get a Free Quote for Brochures
