Event set to cater to Columbias engaged couples

Columbia couples who are planning life together may want to make sure they include a stop at a local pop-up event on their agenda.

A wedding expo is on the way this weekend. Focused on the local area, it will bring together a wide variety of professionals in the event industry in a one-stop shopping function, and tickets to attend are $5 each.

The immersive experience will give the attendee the chance to meet a variety of vendors in person, and they can discuss their plans and learn more about what each has to offer. It is set up to be a good fit for couples wherever they may be in the planning process. At least 50 small businesses will have a representative on site for the three hour activity.

Wedding shows and other functions focused on event planning may attract attention from those in the market for the services of everyone from DJs to travel agents. A brochure printing company can prepare attention-grabbing materials that can help these professionals make the most of a public occasion.

This event planned with Columbia couples in mind will be taking place at 5430 Vantage Point Road this Sunday, April 14. The doors will open at 1:00 pm, and passes for the afternoon can be reserved by visiting its Patch listing.
