Creative weekend planned for Columbias gaming community

Gamers in Columbia will soon have an opportunity to come together in an event that will combine creativity with fun in a relaxed and friendly setting.

Game Jam III will offer local video and tabletop game aficionados a chance to get together with others who share their interest. Experts will be on site to offer advice, support, and encouragement, and all local creators of video or board games, as well as those who are interested in finding out more about them, are welcome.

During the weekend-long event, those who attend will be able to find a collaborator or team they can join, and free drinks and food will be provided. There will be an opportunity to connect with resources like the Missouri Small Business & Technology Development Center (SBTDC) and the Regional Economic Development, Inc. (REDI). In addition to all of this, there will be lots of time to create and be inspired by the others who come to the event. A marketing services provider in the local area can supply an assortment of Promotional Products for this type of function.

The weekend will run from January 26 until 28 in the REDI Innovation Hub, located at 500 East Walnut Street in Columbia. It has been organized by the Local Regional Economic Development Inc., and more information can be found on its website.
