Columbia bacon fans will soon be treated to a festive experience highlighting the efforts of the state's pork producers.
The staff at Bur Oak Brewing Company will be rolling out the red carpet for the 2022 MO Bacon and Bourbon Festival. This activity will be filled with sampling as well as lots of other fun, and tickets to be a part of the celebration start at $20.
The plans for the afternoon include samples of bacon and a variety of other pork dishes, and these will range from savory to sweet. Cocktails and beer will both be on tap, and live music will help to create a high-energy and welcoming atmosphere for the guests. Along with admission to the venue, each ticket will entitle the bearer to unlimited samples of food and spirits, and there will be other vendors on site as well.
