Columbia to roll up sleeves for blood donation drive

The holiday season often sees the public trying to find the perfect present for everyone on their list, but they are asked to save some time in their schedule to give a gift that may be the most important one of all.

Columbia’s TIG Advisors will be partnering with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive, and everyone who plans on doing so is asked to bring along as many friends and family members as they can. Their generosity will help to save lives, and those who are interested can even book a timeslot that suits their schedule.

The process of donating blood is usually simple. The donors will be greeted when they arrive, and they then will check in, answer some questions and be screened to make sure they are healthy enough to participate. The actual donation takes is usually a quick process, and afterwards, a light snack will be provided.

One of the ways an organization can ensure that this sort of activity is a big success is by promoting it to the public. This can be done in a variety of ways, and a company that prepares Corporate Gifts can be counted on to help.

The TIG blood donation clinic will be set up at 200 East Southampton Drive. Timeslots will be available between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm, and all blood samples will be tested to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
