A Columbia show is set to appeal to those who prefer the scaly set of pets ahead of the cute and cuddly.
The Show Me Reptile and Exotics Show will give fans of snakes, frogs, toads, lizards, and other reptiles and amphibians a venue where they can purchase supplies, learn, and maybe even find a new friend. Among the biggest events of its kind in the region, it will cater to both the experienced hobbyist and the newbie.
The attendees at the function will have an opportunity to shop from the vendor tables, and they can also talk to breeders and gather care tips and advice. Those who breed feeders will be on site, and both general admission and VIP tickets are being sold. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the United States Association of Reptile Keepers (USARK). After 1:00 pm, veterans, currently serving military members, first responders and kids who are age 12 and under will be admitted at no charge.
Expo-style events give the public an opportunity to meet a large number of vendors at the same time, and they are often well attended. Cloth Shopping Bags, promotional Pens, and other Corporate Gifts for this sort of activity will be on offer at area printers.
This salute to those who enjoy caring for the scaly set will be open to the public on December 18 and 19. It will be hosted at 2525 North Stadium Boulevard.
