Columbia's Mandela School has invited one and all to attend its Amun Festival, and it promises to be a day filled with fun for all ages.
The school will be hosting a day of activities that will celebrate fall, and there will be a wide assortment of handmade items crafted by the students to browse through. There may still be enough room for more vendors to join the fun, and entry to the celebration will be free to the public.
As well as the chance to support students and local small businesses that will be setting up shop in a pop-up market area, the plans for the occasion include a costume parade and food trucks. A storyteller will add an extra touch of spooky fun to the experience, and a scavenger hunt, bounce house, music, and games will all be organized. A rain date has been set in case of inclement weather.
Fall is a popular time for community festivals and other large public gatherings. Stationery printers will be able to lend a hand by supplying everything from promotional Pens to options for personalized Letterheads.
The Mandela School will be welcoming the public to its third annual Autumn Festival on Saturday, October 21. The rain date is set for a week later on October 28, and it will be open from 10:00am until 2:00pm.
