A Columbia run will offer living proof that local veterans have the support of their community behind them.
Thanks to assistance from the Truman VA Medical Research Foundation (TVAMRF), the annual 5K Research Run and Veterans Day Honor Walk will once again be taking place in Columbia. The event has a goal of creating a healthy and supportive environment for former military members, and the more people register to take part, the better.
All ages will be able to hit the pavement in this funding and awareness raiser, and there will be an Honor Walk reserved for veterans only. There will be a special run just for vets as well. Along with supporting them in the community, donations to this fundraiser will also help to meet the event’s registration fee, so that former military personnel will not have to pay out of their own pocket.
Marketing can be an important part of planning this type of function, and a printing services company will be able to rise to the occasion. It can provide everything from Banners to race bibs, and these can all aid in making a function an event to remember.
The Veterans Day Honor Walk and Run will be held on November 7, while the vets only version will be taking place on November 9. They will all take place in Stephens Lake Park.
