The annual Boone County Fair is returning to Columbia for five days this July.
To raise excitement about the fair, a parade will be held in downtown Columbia a few days before it opens.
The fair will have all of the expected things that an agricultural event might features, such as cattle, sheep, horses, poultry, and a livestock auction.
However, this fair has a lot more to offer; there will be carnival rides and games, motocross, a demolition derby, a dog show, pony rides, and live musical entertainment.
Children will be able to meet the animals in the barnyard and there will also be competitions like Little Mr. and Mrs. Boone County, as well as baby contests. A ham breakfast is set to be held on the last day of the fair.

The Boone County Fair is taking place at the Central Missouri Events Center from July 22 to 26.
