Columbia fundraiser to support state's symphony

The Missouri Symphony will be the charity of choice for a seasonal celebration on the way to Columbia, and those on the guestlist will be the first to enjoy the experience.

The orchestra will benefit from the inaugural “Sips for the Symphony,” and its scheduled date is fast approaching. It will be on offer at the Country Club of Missouri. This afternoon reception will feature food, wine, and fun, and the suggested dress is cocktail casual.

Along with the chance to sample tasting flights, attendees at the gathering will be able to purchase a drink from the cash bar. Food will be served, and a s’mores station will add an extra touch of fun to the occasion. A purse auction and wine pull are both in the works, and there will be time to mingle and get to know others who also appreciate the work of the Missouri Symphony. Tickets are $75 each, and all proceeds will be donated to the cause.

Those who support a cause may appreciate the opportunity to learn how their support makes a difference. A poster printing company can prepare materials to display during an event that show how a charity or other cause puts its funding to work.

The first Sips for the Symphony fundraiser for the Missouri Symphony is scheduled for Sunday, October 13. The venue can be found at 1300 Woodrail Avenue.
