Columbia family festival to offer fun with a purpose

An evening of family fun with a purpose will combine fun with learning, and the whole family may benefit from participating in the activity.

The family Fun Fest that will be on offer this August at Albert Oakland Park in Columbia, will be a free activity, and one of the items on the agenda is a live performance by local artists. It will be a hands-on celebration, and while people enjoy themselves, they will be learning how they can play a role in keeping their community safe.

While the attendees try their hand at the games, art tables, and other activities, they will be discovering ways they can take care of themselves and others should an unexpected public safety event occur. Balloon twisters and face painters will be circulating among the crowd, and the evening will run for two hours. Advance registration is not necessary.

Public events set up to keep community members informed may benefit from the services of area brochure printing companies. Their products and services will be available at various price points, and its staff will be able to help customers choose the best one for them.

The Columbia Family Fun Fest is on August 17. It will begin at 6:00 pm, and the organizer’s phone number is 573-874-7460. All ages are welcome to come out.
