Columbia event to put the 'fun' in fundraising

A little black dress is a “go to” wardrobe staple for many women. Ladies from Columbia and the surrounding communities have been asked to wear theirs when they attend a popular annual fundraising event that will be returning for another year.

The ‘Little Black Dress’ fundraiser, which is billed as being “Columbia's favorite Ladies’ Night Out”, is intended for guests who are age 18 and up. All of the proceeds will be utilized by True North of Columbia, which is an organization that provides support and services to those fleeing domestic violence.

The plan is for the evening to kick off at 6:00 pm with a meet and greet, and the evening’s program will start at 7:00 pm. Appetizers and wine will be on offer, and while they enjoy their snacks and sips, the guests can view the latest clothing trends in the fashion show that will be included in the schedule for the occasion. There will also be a raffle, and music will be playing so the crowd can enjoy hitting the dance floor with their friends.

An event like this can make a big impact in the community by raising both awareness of an issue and funds to help address it. Swag a function of this nature can be sourced from a local supplier of Promotional Products.

This year will be the 10th for the Little Black Dress Fundraiser. It will be taking place on May 10th at 700 Range Line Street.
