Whether they grow food for their own use or operate a small farm, the organizers of a Columbia pop-up event hope it will offer plenty of value to everyone who takes part.
The community has set aside a day at its Agriculture Park that will explore farming and food growing from a variety of perspectives. There is an extensive list of workshops, and these will be accompanied by opportunities to meet other members of the area's home horticulture and small scale agriculture community.
The list of workshops available range from making the most of being a seller at the Columbia Farmers Market to backyard chicken care, and cultivating edible native plants and growing fruit will be on offer. Hands-on activities will be the order of the day, and a food truck roll-in that features locally based mobile eateries will give the attendees a way to support these small businesses. A gently used tool swap will wrap up the festivities.
Outdoor community gatherings are a type of event that may benefit from the services of a banner printing company. They can supply printed directions, Banners, Signs, and many other types of materials.
This fun opportunity for the public to expand their agricultural knowledge will be held on June 25. It will be welcoming all those who are interested from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.
