Those living with multiple sclerosis will benefit from an outdoor activity that will see golfers take to the greens for a day of fun at a Columbia course.
The Lake of the Woods Golf Course will welcome the fourth annual Rockin’ Against Multiple Sclerosis ( RAMS) Golf Tournament, and the monies raised will be donated to the MS Institute of Mid-Missouri. Last year, the organization raised more than $160,000 for the cause, and it is hoping to top that amount.
Registration for the day will be for four person teams, and sponsorships and donations are also welcome. There will be 18 holes, and the format will be scramble, kicking off with a shotgun start. Green fees, food, drinks, a golf cart and prizes are included in the registration fee, and additional perks can be purchased on the day of the fundraiser. It will open with registration and breakfast, and the tourney will take place rain or shine.
One of the jobs that is often undertaken by an event planner is choosing awards to present to the top players. A printing services company will be able to help, and can custom create items that include a group's Logo Design.
Tickets for the RAMS golf tournament are available online now. The function has been scheduled for October 2nd, and it will be a day long activity.
