Firefighters from all over Missouri will be throwing it down in the BBQ arena this spring.
They will be putting their grilling skills to the test in Columbia to see who can crank out the best ribs, and the proceeds will be donated to two area charities.
The Missouri Firefighters Museum project and the Firefighter Cancer Support Network will both be the beneficiaries of this year’s Charity BBQ Smoke-out. The planners noted that they wish to express their gratitude to Mid America Harley Davidson, which has volunteered to play host to the event.
There is a whole list of activities that will be on offer for the occasion. The non-sanctioned BBQ rib contest will see teams vying for the title of BBQ champ, which comes along with bragging rights. There will also be a corn hole tournament, a raffle, music, and face painting for the kids. Motorcycles will be on display, and the whole occasion has been planned to be both fun and family friendly.
An event like this can draw a large crowd, and marketing can make it even more of a success. Reusable pop-up Banners can be a great way to promote this type of occasion, and since they can be reused, they can be a very budget friendly option. A banner printing company in the local area will have lots to choose from.
Mid America Harley Davidson is located at 5704 Freedom Drive. It will be posting this occasion on May 11.
