Columbia chamber to host agricultural banquet

The Columbia Chamber of Commerce provides its membership with support and advocacy, and it is accepting reservations for an upcoming banquet.

The Chamber’s Agribusiness and Bioscience Committee has cordially invited the area's business community to attend its Agricultural Recognition Banquet, which will serve as a mixer, recognition event and fundraiser. It is being presented thanks to financial support from an assortment of area companies, and the presenting sponsor is the Boone Electric Cooperative.

The activity is expected to attract a diverse range of attendees, including members of Boone County’s agricultural community. It has proved to be a popular occasion in the past, and its organizers hope that this year will be just as successful. Table bookings are $350, and each will host four of a company’s employees as well as four guests from the area's farming sector.

To help ensure the function meets its financial goals, a variety of sponsorship opportunities were created by its planners, and these were snapped up by local businesses. The Logo Design of many of these supporters will be incorporated into the marketing materials prepared for the activity, including those posted online.

The year’s Agricultural Recognition Banquet will give a nod to Boone County’s farming community on Thursday, March 23. The fun will be getting started at 5:30 pm at the Stoney Creek Hotel and Conference Center.
