Members of Columbia’s Chamber of Commerce enjoy perks all year long, and one of these that’s scheduled for August will have them teeing off at a local golf course.
The Chamber will be heading to the links at Columbia Country Club for its 22nd annual Golf Classic, and whether they are a golfer or not, everyone in the organization is invited to “play a round”. Individual registrations are $200 each, and teams of four sign-ups are also available.
The golfers that participate will have lots of time for networking out on the greens, and they will have access to the course’s driving range. The use of a cart will be provided, and lunch as well as beverages are also included. The players can show off their abilities in the skill testing competitions, and prize draws will give everyone a chance to win.
Golf tournaments can be a fun way to fundraiser, and they often include lots of networking in a casual environment. When organizing an event, sponsors often choose to offer branded Corporate Gifts to offer as draw prizes as well as awards for the top players. Letterheads are also useful to write notes of thank you for sponsors and other supporters.
The 2025 Chamber Golf Classic will see Columbia’s business community mix and mingle on August 25th. Tee off time will be 8:00 am.
