The Columbia Eve Fest is taking place this December and promises plenty of events suitable for those of all ages.
On the day, 9th Street will be closed off between Elm and Locust, and a number of alcohol-free events are planned. There is set to be a children's dance party, a Creation Station, acoustic jam sessions, buskers and food trucks, among other things. There will be performances such as ‘Babaloo: a one man musical’, jazz from Miss Jubilee and the Humdingers, and magic from illusionist Keith Jozsef, along with a performance by the Eve Fest drummers.
In addition, there will be a 5K run/walk and the Co-Mo Energy Challenge where participants will host displays and provide information to the public. There will likely be something happening that will appeal to everyone in the family.
The day after the festival, Calvary Episcopal Church is hosting three New Year's Day musical workshops, which range in price from $20 to $40.
Those taking part in the energy challenge may contact their favorite Columbia Print company to have documents printed that they will pass on to the public.
