Princeton event to reach out to cattle community

An educational event for cattle breeders in Princeton, Minnesota will be held this July, and there is still time to sign up.

The North Central Highland Cattle Association (NCHCA) Summer Picnic and Embryo Education seminar gives Highland enthusiasts the opportunity to meet like-minded people for networking, while learning about ways to improve their breeding and farming techniques.

The group was formed in 1982 with the aim of forming a marketing organization for breeders, and promoting Scottish Highland Cattle. This type of cattle is immune to the rapid changes in the weather as a result of the long hair that covers their body. They are prime choices for breeding for many farmers globally.

There will be a potluck lunch for attendees to participate in. This is followed by the presentation on the utility of embryos in breeding. The session's leader will be embryo specialist Dr. Ashely Swenson, who is the owner and operator of a local embryo transfer service. After this ends, the farm tour and networking aspect of the evening begins.

The cost for entry will be a dish for the lunch. All attendees must RSVP through the event's Facebook page by this Friday, July 1. Brochure printing can offer unique ways to give information to guests at such events.

The seminar will be on Saturday, July 16 at the Windland Flats. This is located at 31932 136th Street, Princeton. It begins at 12:00 pm and ends at 4:00 pm.
