Gravel ride season starts in Princeton

Princeton will host the fourth Granny’s Gravel Grinder event this May.

This will draw cyclists from the city and nearby areas. The event will start at 55th Avenue and will include multiple route options, with 25, 50 and 100-mile courses available. This allows riders of different skill levels to take part and test and also showcase their abilities.

The 100-mile route will begin at 9 am at the Forest Road gate at mile 28. The 50-mile route will start at 10 am, followed by the 25-mile route at 10:30 am, both from the same location. The 25-mile route will not include any aid stations.

The event is known for its relaxed, community feel, bringing together cycling and a welcoming atmosphere. Participants can expect marked routes, support stations along the way and meals after the ride.

Events like this rely heavily on clear printed materials to keep everything running smoothly. For this, organisers are expected to take advantage of local Print shops for banner printing as well as signage printing.

Route maps and directional signage help riders stay informed. The event begins at 9 am on May 2, 2026, at 6500 55th Ave in Princeton, MN. Registration is now open online. More information about routes can also be seen online in advance. Camping is also being offered at the event venue on Friday night.
