Tree love comes to Edina

Everyone is invited to help out with the delivery of trees in Edina this June. The event is being put on by Tree Trust.

The trees will be going to individuals who ordered them in a recent presale. Participants will need to figure out how to organize and fit trees that are six feet tall into the buyer’s vehicles. The event is good for groups and will involve a great deal of lifting and standing.

Volunteers need sign up for the event free of charge via the Eventbrite listing. Participants will receive food and gloves from the event hosts. However, water must be brought and participants must wear weather appropriate clothing and closed shoes. Flyer printing can be a great way for hosts to provide attendees with information of what they should wear and bring to events such as this one. For additional information and answers to questions, individuals can contact Tree Trust via email at volunteer@treetrust.org.

Once at the site location the organizer’s staff will be available for check-ins and sign-ins. They will also be handing out the gloves, name tags, and details on where each participant’s station will be located.

The event will take place on Sunday, June 3, from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm. The Location will be at Fred Richards Park on 7640 Parklawn Ave, Edina.
