The 50th & France Business Association has announced a full calendar of events for October, with three celebrations of fall and its accompanying festivals.
The Association has announced plans for a Fall Festival held the first weekend of October, welcoming in Autumn. Young visitors can get creative with fall projects from the North Star Art Club, pumpkin decoration, and pumpkin painting. Visitors can also meet llamas from local farms. Refreshments will be provided by Extract Juicery and other local restaurants, including Kids Eat Free deals.
The space will also be hosting a special Diwali Festival at the Plaza & Raag Restaurant, supported by the Edina Asian American Alliance. All community members are welcome to take part in Bollywood dance, sample South Asian favorites, and listen to live music.
Finally, 50th and France will hold its annual Trick or Treating at the end of the month. Kids can visit participating businesses to receive candy and treats, with lunch deals for those who dress up. These events are designed to highlight small businesses in Edina’s 50th & France shopping area. Business associations often use occasions like this along with tools like flyer printing and social media to bring attention to the area.
The 50th & France Fall Fest will take place on October 3, the Diwali Festival from the 23rd to 25th, and Trick or Treat on the 31rst.
