There will be an free-to-attend Earth fashion show and clothes swap in Edina this April.
The event is organized by Twila Singh and is a combined effort of the Clothes Mentor, Edina High School’s Project Earth, and The City of Edina. Those attending the event can bring any clothes they would like to trade with other individuals. Participants do not have to make donations to be a part of the event and can take any clothing home with them, with any clothing left behind being donated. Along with the clothes swap, there will also be a sneaker drive where individuals can bring along their sneakers to be donated.
A fashion show will also be taking place during the event and models are encouraged to come and participate in it. Models are asked to bring their own thrifty clothing pieces for them to model in. Individuals of different ages and experiences are welcome to take part.
Print shops may be a great resource for organizers and attendees looking to make labels for their different clothing items at events such as this one.
The event will take place on Thursday, April 20. It will begin at 4:00 pm and end at 8:00 pm, and will be located at Braemar Arena Backyard Rink on 7501 Ikola Way, Edina, Minnesota 55439.
