The Morris Nilsen Company in Richfield, Minnesota will host a community Halloween-themed event this October.
The event, titled 'Community Trick-or-Treat' will feature family-friendly entertainment for all ages. Patrons are invited to bring along their Bags, pillowcases, or buckets to celebrate the trick-or-treat event. Children and adults alike are welcome to dress-up in the full spirit of Halloween. It will be an outdoor event, and ample space will be provided for local businesses to feature their own set-up.
Morris Nilsen is a crematory service and funeral chapel. Its main aim with this event is to help local businesses gain exposure in the Richfield community and to encourage donations to the local Veterans Education Assistance Program (VEAP), which helps members with education benefits such as assisting with tuition cost.
Businesses taking part in the event are encouraged to decorate a trunks. They may also give away free candies and toys to patrons. Participants at events such as these often use graphic designs to show case what it is they have to offer, as well as to attract other participants and attendees.
Setup starts at 3:00 pm, and business participation is free. All patrons are encouraged to follow respective Covid-19 guidelines.
