Richfield hosts award event

A business awards ceremony will be held this March for the local businesses of Richfield, Minnesota.

The name of the ceremony is the 'Circle of Excellence', and it comes courtesy of the Richfield Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber celebrates these organizations for their contributions to the local community, and for their achievements in the field. Awards are in the categories of Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year, Business Leader of the Year, Government Service Award, and a Sports Award.

Though the ceremony is an annual event, proceedings were previously suspended due to the coronavirus. This marks its first staging since the pandemic began in 2019.

The event is scheduled to begin with a networking and check-in session. Lunch will be served to those in attendance, and the awards ceremony begins afterwards.

Those attending must register on the Chamber of Commerce website. The cost for registration is $60 for non-members, while members will be $40. The registration deadline is March 2. Those with queries can contact Kelsey Nagel by email at membership@richfieldmnchamber.org.
