The Wood Lake Nature Center in Twin Falls, Idaho will host a 'Yoga on Ice' session this February.
The session will be for women looking to step out into nature for a refreshing exercise. It was originally meant to take place this month but was rescheduled due to bad weather.
The session will focus on staying warm through guided movements, and will be led by a certified yoga instructor. Those attending are invited to bring friends or family members along. There will be a fire and hot cocoa available for everyone afterwards. Each individual should bring a mat of their own.
This session is put on by the Wood Lake Nature Center, which is a 150-acre municipal forest located in Richfield. They frequently host events like these so residents can experience the woodland and the surrounding area. There are attractions such as waterfalls and rare animals. The Nature Center also holds classes on a variety of topics for residents.
The cost for entry is $15 per person, or $10 for members of Friends of Wood Lake (FOWL). This event requires pre-registration. Flyer printing is an inventive way for event organizers to provide information about events such as these.
The event will be held on Sunday, February 13 at the Wood Lake Nature Center, which is located at 6700 Portland Avenue, Richfield, Minnesota 55423. It begins at 2:00 pm and ends at 3:30 pm.
