May to end with Edina Art Fair

The 2024 annual Edina Art Fair will soon be held at the 50th & France Business District.

This year’s theme is “Metamorphosis,” which symbolizes change, transformation, growth, and creativity, while the featured artist of the event is John Vogl, whose painting dubbed “There I Go Again” will serve as the event poster’s backdrop.

Vogl is an illustrator known for his blend of both traditional and digital art techniques. His painting “There I Go Again” has been chosen to embody this year’s theme, as it portrays change and transformation with its butterfly and floral motifs flowing off of the figure’s colorful dress.

In addition to Vogl, over 200 artists, both experienced and up-coming, will also get an opportunity to showcase and sell their work through different media, including jewelry-making, sculptures, pottery, and painting. The event organizers have also invited food truck owners, beer and wine sellers, and culinary artisans to join the marketplace.

The event will go on for three days, starting on May 31 at 12:00 pm and June 1 from 10:00 am to 7.00 pm, and June 2 from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm. Admission to the fair is free and all locals are invited to celebrate art, food, and the community. After the fair, attendees with a love of graphic design can still purchase limited edition prints.
