Lymphedema certification to be held in Edina

A health certification course will be held in Edina this October.

The class is a four day event, in which attendees will explore new remedies for effectively treating Lymphedema. Throughout the course, participants will explore the anatomy of the lymphatic system, identifying its flow and principal purposes. Classes will examine at least four research-based theories that can support the new methods for treatment, as well as practical application of these remedies on diagnosed illnesses. These include therapeutic treatments, wrapping and draining swollen lymph nodes.

Participants must first register for classes by visiting the Eventbrite website. Those who wish to cancel may do so at least 7 days in advance to receive a refund. There will be a $20 service charge for any cancellation. Those who are employees of the organization must cancel at least a month in advance to receive refunds. These are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. All attendees must present proof of Covid-19 vaccination before attending.

The cost for registration will go up to $1,300. Students may register individually or as a group. This will include the cost of the course textbook and materials.

Flyer printing can help offer students access to additional resources at events such as these.

The course begins on October 13 and goes to the 16. It takes place at Cassia, located at 7171 Ohms Lane, Edina, Minnesota. Start time details are also available online.
