A charity 5K run, walk and ride will be held this May. Called the Daisy Dash 5K, it aims to support and advocate for prenatal and postnatal mental health wellness.
Proceeds from the event will go to support the Pregnancy and Postpartum Support Minnesota organization, which offers support, training, and classes for matters regarding mental health awareness and advocacy for perinatal care. Their aim for this year is to reach more families and healthcare providers with this support and educational initiative. The goal for the event is to raise $30,000 through donations and to make the event just as impactful as it has been in previous years.
The cost for entry to this event will vary. For children, it will be $15, while for adults, the cost is $35. There is an option for virtual participation, and the cost for entry is the same. Interested people may visit the event’s website in order to register. Early registration will also give participants a free event T-shirt, and all participants will receive a goodie bag on the day of the race.
Banner printing can be a useful finishing touch for events such as this.
This event will be held on May 21 at Rosland Park. This is located at 4300 West 66th Street, Edina, Minnesota. It starts at 9:45 am and ends at 12:00 noon.
