Healthcare professionals to gather in Edina

A Breath of Hope Foundation will host a meeting for healthcare professionals this December.

The primary focus of the meeting will be Lung Cancer Screening. There will be presenters from various areas in the medical community on site to offer views on a number of topics. These will include the low eligibility rate for low dose computed tomography (CT) scans, and ways to overcome and improve barriers to lung cancer screening. The keynote speaker for the forum will be Dr. Christina Bellinger.

Healthcare professionals from all fields are welcome, from primary caregivers to specialists. Attendance will be free. The event will go for the entire day, and those in attendance will have breakfast and lunch provided.

The event will also serve as a networking opportunity for attendees. With top performing healthcare personnel present, guests will have the chance to meet peers from across the country. The lunch hour will serve as the allotted time for socialization among peers. The seminar will be worth up to 2.0 American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) contact hours. Those who wish to receive accreditation from their local boards may submit their statement of participation to the appropriate boards and organizations for credit.

Business card printing can be a great way to make a connection at events such as this one.

The seminar takes place on December 9 at the Westin Edina Galleria in 3201 Galleria Edina, Minnesota 55345. It begins at 7:00 am and ends at 12:00 noon.
