Festival encourages Edina to fall into art

The Edina Fall into the Arts Festival will be returning for its 20th edition this summer, showcasing the work of local artists and artisans.

The two-day festival features approximately 235 vendors, predominantly visual artists, sculptors, photographers, and other craftspeople. There will also be food vendors and commercial sellers. There will be work for sale as well as exhibition to provide unique home decor or gift items. Artists are selected from local submissions by a panel of jurors. The Festival will also be raising money for the Edina Crime Prevention Fund. The event is designed to bookend the summer with the Edina Art Fair, which is hosted every June. The Festival is noted for its scenic location on Centennial Lakes Park, which promotional material states:

“is one of the most scenic park locations in the Twin Cities Metro Area and offers ample free parking nearby, as well as additional recreational activities.”

The event aims to attract thousands of attendees, with over 6000 parking spaces available near the park. The 20th anniversary of the festival will also be celebrated with a new Logo Design, featuring a rainbow of colours in triangular swathes. Art festivals such as this often incorporate creativity into their marketing, with off-the-wall graphic design and imagery.

The 2024 Edina Fall into the Arts Festival will take place at Centennial Lakes Park on September 7 and 8.
