Edina celebrates the arts

The annual Fall Into the Arts Festival is a two-day fundraiser for the Edina Crime Prevention Fund.

This year’s festival is the 18th staging and will feature over 200 food vendors, exhibitors, and artists. Those interested in attending will view pieces from artists who specialize in two-dimensional art, sculpting, fashion design, wood carving, pottery, photography, glass forming, and jewelry making. All artwork will be displayed along the walkways of Centennial Lakes Park. Artists who wish to take part in the festival can apply via Zapplication. Food vendors can contact Shelly Loberg at shelly@edina.org or 952-806-9064 for more information on renting a booth at the festival.

The Edina Crime Prevention Fund has been a community partner for over 45 years and has contributed to several initiatives to keep the community safe, such as bike patrol and mobile surveillance. It has also provided funding for rewards and helped the police with crime solving.

The Fall Into the Arts Festival is free to attend but refreshments and artwork will be on sale. Print shops are a great way for organizers to provide details about events such as this.

The festival will be held on Saturday, September 10 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday, September 11, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Centennial Lakes Park is at 7499 France Avenue South in Edina, Minnesota 55435.
