Caregiver event to take place in Edina

A Peer Support Salon Workshop will take place in Edina this March.

The workshop will provide an opportunity for multi-disciplinary caregivers to engage in structured gatherings, and will facilitate exchanges of ideas based on perspective participants' experiences.

This workshop will accommodate up to 16 attendees, with a waiting list available. The limited capacity ensures a more intimate environment.

This activity is open to all employees of Children's Minnesota, a non-profit care organization designed to deliver acute care to children. For individuals unsure whether the workshop addresses their needs, contact details for the organizing team can be found through their website.

The learning objectives of the workshop will include: the history of discussion salons, and their application for beneficial work environments; how to develop sociable connections through partaking in a salon discussion; discussing the advantages of engaged listening; and developing skills that promote Peer Support Salons in personal and professional arenas.

Upon completion of the workshop, attendees will be equipped with the necessary skills to lead Peer Support Salon conversations in their respective personal or professional settings.
