Art fair to return to Edina

A staple of Edina’s summer will be returning this June as the Edina Art Fair once again takes to the streets.

The three-day fair will include the work of local artists in a variety of media and styles. Artists will be selected through an online application process, with a special section of the fair for “Emerging Artists.” Those judged to have outstanding contributions can receive an Award of Excellence or be designated Best in Show.

Last year’s big winners included Alicia Hauff, Tyrel Bleifus and Steve Stratman. There will also be food trucks to sample the work of culinary artisans from the Twin Cities area.

The fairgrounds will also include a music stage featuring local performers, a beer garden, and a Kids Zone with activities and vendors aimed at younger audiences. The Art Fair has taken place annually since 1966, and is a marquee event of 50th & France and Explore Edina. Festival events like this provide artists and crafters with a way to directly connect with new and returning audience members, often using Business Cards or promotional items to make a strong impression. The event claims to be Minnesota’s longest-running art fair, and is supported by the work of volunteers and local sponsors.

The 2025 Edina Art Fair will take place at 50th & France from June 6 to 8.
