An upcoming event in Chanhassen promises to be both fun and challenging.
Sarah Does Puzzles and Hackamore Brewing Company are teaming up to host the upcoming Team Jigsaw Puzzle Contest. At this event, teams will compete to see how quickly they can assemble a 500-piece puzzle. Prizes will be given to the winners.
Teams will be comprised of as many as four people. Each team will receive a bag containing the same puzzle, and no one will be able to see the puzzle before the contest starts. There will be a countdown, and then the teams will be able to open their Bags and start assembling their puzzle. A judge will monitor the contest and record times as teams finish. Once they have finished their competitive puzzle, people can hang out and relax or work on another puzzle.
The competition has a few rules worth considering for attendees. Contestants may have something to eat and/or drink during the contest, and may use extra lighting as long as it doesn’t have to be plugged in. They may also use sorting trays and box tops but may not interfere with others.
The puzzle contest is scheduled for January 23 at Hackamore Brewing Company, 18651 Lake Drive East in Chanhassen. The event starts at 6.00 pm.
