Residents of Chanhassen, as well as visitors, are looking forward to the 2021 Nutcracker coming to the region.
The event is produced by the Minnesota Ballet Theatre and will take place in Eden Prairie, which is only a few miles from Chanhassen.
The highly acclaimed performance is touted on an event listing as the most authentic version of the classical Russian Nutcracker. The timeless music of Tchaikovsky ensures the performance will remain true to the original choreography of Marius Petipa.

The 2021 Nutcracker will be performed at the Eden Prairie High School. The school is located at 17185 Valley View Road. Performances are scheduled for Friday, December 17 at 7:00 pm, and Saturday, December 18 at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm. The final show will be performed on Sunday, December 19 at 1:00 pm. Parking is available at the school or nearby at no charge.
The Minnesota Ballet Theatre provides education for children that teaches traditional Russian ballet utilizing the Vaganova method.
