Chanhassen fans of the iconic Golden Girls show from the 1970s era are looking forward to the upcoming Golden Girls Bar Crawl taking place at the neighboring community of Minneapolis.
Tribute will be paid to one of the most acclaimed foursomes in the history of television. Participants are encouraged to dress up as Rose, Sophia, Dorothy, or Blanche as they celebrate the legacy created through the long-running show.
The goal of the event is to have the most people dressed in costumes of the Golden Girls in one venue. The event will begin at Pourhouse followed by groups being split into teams of four. Costumes are optional but teams of four are part of the agenda. A bar schedule will be distributed at this time.
Special activities are planned for each venue. Piano singalongs, trivia, and dance parties are on the line-up. DJs and performers will be part of the fun.
Limited edition T-Shirts for the Golden Girls crawl can be pre-ordered and must be picked up at the event by noon. Printing services often work with event planners in providing graphic design for Apparel.
The Golden Girls Bar Crawl will take place tomorrow, May 11, starting at 10:30 am. Tickets are required to enter any of the bars or venues. They range from $20 to $100 and may be purchased online.
