Chanhassen to trick or treat with a difference

Chanhassen leaders have announced a new look to the annual trick or treating Halloween holiday.

Adapting to the ever-changing environment and promoting a safe experience for all, the 36th Annual Halloween party is now the Trick-or-Trail version.

The local business community is hosting the event on the Chan Rec Center Trail, allowing for plenty of space for all. Participants are encouraged to don costumes and enjoy a day on the trail.

The Gray Duck Concession food truck, selling pigs in a blanket, mini donuts and an assortment of beverages will be onsite. Business teams will hand out the candy as holiday ghosts and goblins pass by.

Event organizers are looking for additional businesses to join in handing out candy. Anyone wishing to participate should contact Priya Tandon at 952-227-1122.

Banner printing is an ideal method of giving out information in a highly visible way. Banners are made of strong material such as vinyl or canvas and can display large text and graphics. They are frequently used for directional purposes such as in parking lots, on roads or trails, and in the concession area. Local Print shops have the resources to assist in creating Banners.

The 36th Annual Halloween Trick-or-Trail holiday event will take place October 24 at the Chanhassen Recreation Center located at 2310 Coulter Blvd. It will run from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Advance registration is recommended, and the cost is $3.00 per person.
