The Annual February Festival (known as Feb Fest) in Chanhassen will once again brighten the winter time for residents and visitors. Approximately 2,000 people are expected to attend.
The agenda is loaded with activities including a medallion hunt the week before Feb Fest. A s’mores cookout with a roaring fire brings warmth and tasty fun, and ice-skating tests the skills of participants on the lake. Dog sled rides along with horse-drawn sleigh rides provide an opportunity to explore the surroundings of the festival.
Other activities include a fat tire bike demo showing how to get around by bike in difficult winter conditions, and the annual popular ice fishing contest. Over 1,000 fishing holes have been cut into the ice with a drilling process. Door and contest prizes along with concessions are all part of the line-up. Over $6,000 is allotted for fish prizes and $3,000 to door prizes this year.
Poster printing is often needed for outdoor events of this type. Posters can have full color Print with images and text regarding events, timelines, sponsors, and other pertinent information. Local Print shops are available to assist with poster printing projects.
Participants registering online will be entered into a drawing, with one winner receiving a $100 card from Cabin Fever Sports.
