Chanhassen High School hosts regional dance challenge

A company that provides organized dance competitions is bringing their event to Chanhassen.

Turn It Up Dance Challenge is an organization that hosts Regional Dance Competitions throughout the country that have won raves from dancers, their friends and families, and studios alike. Turn It Up judges and crews guarantee that everyone who participates in one of their events has a positive experience.

The Dance Challenges offer free videos and photos of the performances, four competitive levels, nominations to dance awards in Hollywood, outstanding customer service, and a convenient schedule so participants do not have to miss school. Discounts are available for both returning and new studios.

Participants are divided into groups by age, from Tiny (for children five and under) to Adults, who are 20 and older. Studio directors will choose the level for each dancer, based on the number of routines they plan to perform. The performance levels are Novice, for those who little or no experience in competition; Intermediate, for those who have moderate experience; Competitive, for dancers with significant experience in competitions; and Pro-Amateur, for those routines that are made up of at least 50% or more professional dancers or full-time dance teachers.

The competition is fun for both performers and audience members. The Turn It Up Dance Challenge will take place March 13 – 15 at the Chanhassen High School. Events like this provide attendees with an opportunity to pick up Business Cards from the organizers.
