The Landscape Arboretum located a few miles from Chanhassen in Chaska is hosting an event for dog owners.
“It’s all about Dogs” will welcome spring in to the region, celebrating 20 years of allowing dogs and their humans to stroll through the lovely gardens.
Dogs are typically asked to remain on leash in designated areas at the Arboretum. However, each spring one day is open for visitors and their furry friends to walk and explore the Three-Mile Walk. Pet contests add to the fun along with door prizes.
Vendors will be on hand offering products, services and dog-appropriate food. Often, specific vendors are easy to find at large events because they have worked with local Print shops for banner printing. Banners can be placed in the booth or area depicting what the vendor has to offer.
Two types of exhibitors will include non-profit organizations and companies that sell pet related goods. Some of the participating vendors include Chuck and Don’s, Pet Wants Twin Cities West, Jes Naturals, Renewal by Anderson, Farmina Pet Foods, and Sokguru.
The ‘It’s all about Dogs’ spring event will take place on Saturday, April 25 near the Margot Picnic Shelter from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Members of the arboretum pay $15 admission while non-members are priced at $30. Registration can be handled via the event website or tickets purchased at the door.
