Unique lecture compares two of the world's great artists

The traveling lecture event, ‘Discover DaVinci and Michelangelo Side by Side’ is coming to Burnsville in about a week.

The event, hosted by Mark Rodgers, runs for two hours with a 20 minute intermission. It is set to feature theater, 3D animations, videos, movies and many examples of the works of the two artists, including their sketches, paintings, and inventions. It will be tied into what the work of these two men means in today's world.

Rodgers has curated the DaVinci Machines and Michelangelo exhibitions for the Museum of Leonard DaVinci, located in Florence, Italy.

Michelangelo and Leonardo DaVinci are two of the best loved artists from the 15th Century and their work appears in some of the most prestigious galleries worldwide, but such direct comparison of their work is rare.

No doubt many of those who work for Burnsville printing companies or graphics designers will not want to miss this special event. It may influence them in their own works or cause them to create illustrations and designs based on the works of these two greats.
