The Southern Cruzers Car Club will celebrate more than 20 years of supporting local charity when it presents its 37th annual car show next month in Burnsville.
The Spectacular Summer Car Show is one of the largest shows in the area and has given more than $153,000 to scholarships and charities since 2005. Last year the club provided $6000 to automotive programs at Dakota County Technical College.
Founded in 1981, the Southern Cruzers Car club has members of all ages who own a broad range of makes and models of vehicles.
The upcoming annual summer show will feature a display of hundreds of cars from over the last century. While visiting the show, car enthusiasts can also enjoy entertainment and food.
Dash plaques will be provided for the first 200 vehicles and all participants have the chance at winning awards, including best in show. Spectators and owners will be able to vote on their favorites.

The Southern Cruzers Summer Spectacular Car Show will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Buck Hill Ski and Snowboard area in Burnsville beginning at 9 am. Voting will end at 1 pm with trophies presented at 2 pm. The event will proceed, rain or shine. Further information is available on the car club website.
