Safety first at Burnsville Festival

Families will benefit from enhanced safety measures at the upcoming Burnsville Festival and Fire Muster.

Event organizers and partners have increased security to ensure a safe event for everyone. The City of Burnsville will add fencing around the main festival grounds. In addition, visitors will be greeted by staff at three entrances who will conduct bag Checks.

There is also a new policy for minors attending the festival. After 8 pm, all those 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

There will be fun activities for all ages at the three-day festival, including multicultural celebrations, music, art, and the fire muster gathering of firefighters and equipment. A parade, block party, family fun zone, bingo beer tent and fireworks are among the other highlights.

The community celebration is the city’s longest running and largest festival, dating back to 1980. It’s an event that attracts as many as 20,000 people, allowing organizers to give back to the community. Numerous charitable groups and organizations are supported each year by funds raised at the festival.

Its success relies not only on volunteers but also on sponsors. Businesses who choose to support community festivals often use Logo Design services to highlight their products and services.

The Burnsville Festival and Fire Muster will be held from September 10 to 12, 2026 with most of the events at Nicollet Commons Park.
