Burnsville parents who have been on the hunt for an activity they can enjoy along with their child may want to check out a local creative event.
The registrants for the Paint Night that will be held at the Diamondhead Education Center will all create their very own masterpiece, and each pair’s works can be displayed on their own or side by side. All levels of experience are welcome, even if they have never picked up a paintbrush before.
The activity is geared towards kids who are from ages 6 to 12, and as tickets can be purchased in sets of two or three, two siblings can participate at the same time. The instructor for the evening will be Vanessa Merry, and she will walk the group through the steps needed to complete their projects. Everyone is advised to wear clothes they do not mind getting some paint on, and there is room for up to 10 people in the event.
The organizer of the session explained that COVID-19 prevention protocols will be followed. A printing services company can prepare screening sheets of questions that can help to make a function like this safe for all who take part.
This evening of artistic expression will welcome Burnsville families on March 13. Everyone is asked to arrive by no later than 6:00 pm.
