Presented by the Elder Resource Association South of the River, the Spring Aging and Wellness Expo is taking place in Burnsville in just a couple of weeks.
The expo is aimed at those aged over 55 and their caregivers. Many local organizations will be on hand to provide information on the various programs and services available to seniors. Organizations that provide help to caregivers are also expected to be on hand to spread the word about what help is available in the community to make it a little easier for them. No doubt many of those attending will discover resources of which they previously had no knowledge.
There will also be free health screenings for conditions such as high blood pressure, cholesterol or diabetes; illnesses that often affect seniors in particular. In addition, visitors can compete for door prizes and pick up plenty of freebies from exhibitors.
Most of the organizations participating in the expo will likely be handing out a selection of helpful printed literature. Burnsville printing companies are often asked to help provide those types of materials, be they Brochures, Booklets, or Flyers.
