Residents of Burnsville who are in line for joint replacement surgery may want to be sure they don’t miss out a workshop designed to help make the process easier.
Fairview Ridges Hospital will be offering a Total Joint Education Class, and it will arm them with tips and details that they will be able to use during the preparation, surgery, and recovery process. Free to take part in, the class will be offered in Conference Room A and B at the hospital.
During the workshop, the learners will find out how they can get themselves ready for surgery, and also what to expect while they are in the hospital. This will be followed by a review of the post-operative period and the supplies that may be useful for this time, and this will be followed by a discussion of how an individual who has had joint replacement can heal and reduce the risk of problems.
This sort of learning opportunity often helps those who take part to be less apprehensive about their upcoming treatment. A brochure printing company will be able to supply any handouts and other materials for the function, and these can be given to each participant.
